Pentecost calls us to a deeper relationship with God the Father, Jesus our Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost is the culmination of the Lent and the Easter season where we journeyed with Jesus to His crucifixion, death, and ressurection. It is proof that Jesus is still present and did not abandon us when He died on the cross. Pentecost also calls us to welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives on a daily basis. Simply saying, “Come Holy Spirit and guide my words, guide my thoughts, and guide my actions” works wonders in our lives and those we encounter. Another prayer we as can say during our prayer time or with others is the “The Litany of the Holy Spirit” (Litany of the Holy Spirit | EWTN):
