Hello Dear CDA Sisters,
Here is our Court’s news for this week; please be sure to be in touch with your buddy and share this email’s news:
· This Saturday is a Marian Feast Day: The Assumption. Although it is not a Holy Day of Obligation, St. Monica will have a vigil Mass on Friday at 5:30pm and 7:00pm. The 7:00pm will be in Spanish. The Saturday morning, 8:00am Mass will celebrate the Feast of the Assumption.
· As you are able, please take the Safe Environment Training. Let Isabel know when you have completed the training, thank you!
· Parking Lot Striping Please be aware that the church’s parking lots are currently being restriped. Below is a list of lot closures:
o 8/8: Midway lot & 1/2 South lot
o 8/10-8/15: Walnut Hill lot
o 8/14-8/15: West lot & 1/2 South lot
· Fr. Mark’s Grandfather passed away recently; his name is Jim Otto.
· Fr. Paul is blessing parishioner’s cars in the Midway parking lot after all Masses. He is also giving the blessing of St. Torelli to any drinking water you wish to bring in your car trunk after all Masses in the same lot. Just stand outside your vehicle and Father will come by for the blessings.
· Our First Friday Adoration was attended by 9 enthusiastic ladies! Although shorter and at a different time, we were happy to gather once again as a group for prayer. Fr. Guadagnoli commented that he was happy to see us praying near the statue of Our Lady of Fatima!
