August 17-23, 2020 Happy Monday to all you sweet CDA Sisters!
Here is what we have to share this week:
Christmas at the Arboretum: Monica has news of a special $5.00 admission fee to see the 12 Day of Christmas and the Expanded Christmas Village Exhibit at night! Normal costs are between $11 and $13. The dates are either Dec 1st of Dec 2nd from 6-9 pm. What a great start to the festive season.
Please let Monica know your interest by tomorrow so she may reserve tickets. At this price, they will go fast! Let your buddy know!
Membership and Dues
Your officers are busy working on the calendar and the budget. We will have these items to you when complete and will share the budget for review and to be voted for approval. I am including a breakdown of how your membership dues are spent. As you can see, the court only has $4.41 left of a member’s dues of $25 to spend on our expenses. We rely heavily on fundraisers, but this year is up in the air. Regardless, we will have to take a hard look at how we can raise income.
Church News….
The St. Torelli blessing of water will be given after the 7pm Mass only on Sundays beginning on August 23rd.
I have an email note about the rosary that was sent to Christine Bukowsky from Barbara Brummitt on Feb. 17, 2012—very powerful!
