Good Monday Afternoon to our dear CDA Sisters!

Today we remember our loved ones who have left this world and are on their way to their Heavenly reward. We pray for them as we remember their impact on our lives.

St. Monica has asked that we let the office know of our intentions regarding attending Christmas Masses. Completing this survey does not guarantee a seat at Mass. The times listed may be adjusted based on the results of the survey.

First Friday is on Nov. 6that 1PM. We have changed the time due to carpool congestion. Please bring your prayer booklets if you have one.

The Dallas Deanery Council of Catholic Women (DDCCW) is having their Annual Assembly on November 7 via Zoom. Every year, each affiliate is asked to nominate a Woman of the Year. We have nominated Monica Noyes as our Court’s Woman of the Year for her work with Ladies on the Go and Game Day among her other work with our court! You can join in the meeting via Zoom. Missionaries of Charity’s pantry. At our November Meeting on the 11thwe will be collecting food items for the Sisters. They have requested the following items: Please bring one pound bags of any of these items and they will be delivered to the Sisters: Long grain rice, Pinto beans, Black beans, Vegetable Oil, All types of fresh fruit, Onions, Cabbage, Broccoli and small bags of sugar.

TAMALE PRE-SALES!!!!  Our annual fundraiser will look different this year, but they will still taste great! Tell your family and neighbors about our new lower prices and have them pre-order for delivery the first weekend of December. Please let Connie know what shift you are available to work—“Many hands make light work!”

I have spoken and emailed our Seminarian, Eugene, and he sends his greetings to us and asks for our prayers “To be a Holy Priest and for people to see God in me.” New Orleans was spared once again from a lot of damage, and he says the seminary will close before Thanksgiving with online classes for the remainder of the semester.

Last Friday, our Rosary makers, Christine Bukowsky and Carmen Grant, delivered 800 Rosaries—yes 800! to the church office for Faith Formation. Fr. Mark Blessed them while the office staff looked on. Thank you ladies for your faithful work.
