Court St. Faustina Weekly News!

August 16-22 Hello Dear CDA

August 16-22

Hello Dear CDA Sisters!

We have had some changes at church and I want to be sure you are aware of them.

The dispensation for attending Sunday Mass/ Holy Days is once again in effect due to the current increase in virus cases and hospitalizations.

Bishop Burns has told the faithful he will monitor the situation and make changes as warranted. It is also suggested we wear masks in church out of charity for our fellow parishioners. Non-mask wearing worshippers will not be singled out.

Confession times going forward: Mondays – 9-9:45 AM  Tuesdays – 5:30-6:30 PM      Saturdays – 3:30-4:30 PM

YOUR Officers are busy getting ready for the upcoming year planning the calendar and budget with the budget committee. If you have any ideas for a meetings, outings, or a service opportunity, please tell us. This is YOUR court, not mine or the Officers. We are here to lead things, but always at the direction of what the court wishes. In that vein, our next Officer’s meeting will be on August 25, 1pm at my home. Anyone is invited to attend. One thing I learned at training is that Officer meetings are open to all the membership. From now on, I will be letting you know of future meetings.

This month we have a nighttime game day on August 26th 6:30 pm in the upper lounge. We are on the church calendar, and we thought this might be a good time for those who work to be able to attend. See you then!

This week there will be a Memorial Mass from the Court for Juanita Hoelscher on Thursday August 19th at 8am.  Also, on Thursday September 2, at 6:45 am.

I have attached our State Regent’s Letter to Texas CDA. Also, there will be workshops given by the National CDA —flyer is attached.

Please stay connected with each other and let us know if there are any needs.

Take care and God Bless,

Isabel Campbell ~Regent~
