September 7- September 13 Hello

September 7- September 13

Hello Dear CDA Sisters!

Our State Regent, Melodie Brunt, is hospitalized and will need a quadruple heart bypass. She will have the surgery Tuesday. She did not have a heart attack, which was previously thought.  Please place her on your prayer lists.

Our first meeting is this week: Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the small gym. The doors to the gym will be open when you enter the family center from the parking lot. Seating will be spaced out and masks will be required.

·        You are very welcome to attend, but we do understand if you are not comfortable in being in a group meetings. You have to do what is best for you and your family.

·        District Deputy, Anna Everage will be in attendance and we will install Fr. Mark Garrett as our Chaplain.

·        The church has asked the Ministries not to provide refreshments at the meetings. Please eat beforehand. Thank you for your understanding.

·        Please contact your Buddy about these and any other announcements so they will be informed. Also reach out to those members who may need a ride to the meeting.

·        I have attached the budget again for your review, we will be voting on its adoption this Wednesday.

·        We will be having a demonstration of our new website by Karen Fields, here is the link to look at it: https://cdacourt2478.org/

·        Please review the minutes that were sent out last week for approval at Wednesday’s meeting.

·        I have attached the Calendar for the remainder of 2020. I do not have any more dates as the office is unsure how the New Year will unfold in regards to continued Covid-19 restrictions.

·        Those who have RSVP’d for the Christmas at the Arboretum, please bring your $5 to give to Monica.

·        St. Monica School will be having Masses every day at 8am to accommodate social distancing with the students. Parishioners who attend this Mass will be seated in their own section. We want to let you know so you may decide if you wish to attend the 8am Mass or the earlier 6:45 am Mass.

We look forward to seeing those of you who can come to our first meeting Wednesday! The year may look different, but our Mission of Service and Charity remains the same!!
